Toolmaker

Requirements for the position of Toolmaker:

• Ideally, a time-served apprentice.
• Good experience of Manual Milling.
• Proven experience of working to tight tolerances.
• Conversant with engineering drawings.
• Preferably, experience with manual surface grinding.
• Upon a successful interview, Preci-Spark’s application process requests that a basic criminal record check will be carried out. check may be carried out.
• Health, safety and environment compliance.

Role of a Toolmaker includes:

• Make various Jigs and Fixtures for our machining, inspection and assembling departments.
• The machines used are conventional milling machines and surface grinders, where you be working from engineering drawings, sketches or models, working to +/- thou tolerances.
