CMM Inspector/Programmer

Requirements:

Experience of programming and operating Mitutoyo/ PC-Dmis / OGP CMM.

Excellent understanding of drawings, dimensions and tolerancing.

A minimum of two years experience in programming complex geometry.

Must be able to work on your own initiative in a busy engineering environment.

Good communication skills.

Experience of working in the Aerospace industry would be an advantage but not essential.

The Role:

Responsible for the setup and completion of work carried out on the CMM & Multi-Sensor CMM.

Use inspection tools such as shadow graphs, vernier callipers and micrometres.

Carry out Manual & Visual inspection of components to customer requirements.

The use of MCOSMOS, PC-Dmis & OGP software, you will be required to program these machines, set the datum’s and conduct the inspection compiling all relevant documentation such as; First Article Inspection Reports.
