Lead Project Manager    �� Filton, Bristol | �� 12-Month Contract | �� £47 PAYE or £63.40 Umbrella | �� Hybrid (2 days per fortnight on-site)    BAE Systems is looking for a Lead Project Professional to support the delivery of strategic AUKUS programme activities within the Submarines business.    You'll act as a key interface between BAE Systems, the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), Australian Submarine Agency (ASA), and wider stakeholders, helping drive project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and future programme development.    Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of SPIO workstreams on behalf of the Project Manager. Act as the day-to-day BAE Systems representative with Bristol-based stakeholders. Support AUKUS programme execution, planning and governance activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with SDA, ASA and internal teams. Manage project metrics, risks, issues and reporting. Support bid, campaign and business planning activities. Mentor and support team members as the function grows. Collaborate with the wider UK AUKUS Delivery Team to achieve programme objectives.    About You Experience delivering projects within complex engineering, defence or government environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Knowledge of project governance, risk management and reporting. Degree qualified or equivalent experience. Formal PM qualifications are advantageous.
