Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, working with different stakeholders, and turning business requirements into practical solutions.

Briefing

You'll join our Configuration & Implementation team, working on new customer implementations and supporting new propositions for existing clients.

You'll play an important role in connecting customers, implementation partners, and engineering teams, helping translate business requirements into working solutions within our cloud-based SaaS platform.

You'll work with components such as Orbis Rules, DocStreet, and Mid Office, supporting the configuration of business rules, calculations, and processes. You'll also have the opportunity to take ownership of implementation activities and work closely with stakeholders across different organisations.

What You'll Do

• Act as the link between customers, implementation partners, and engineering teams during implementation projects.
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into system configurations, rules, calculations, and processes.
• Coordinate with implementation partners to ensure configuration work is delivered on time and meets quality expectations.
• Analyse customer requirements, challenge assumptions, and propose practical solutions.
• Identify when requirements can be addressed through configuration and when product or engineering changes are needed.
• Assess the impact and risks of changes to business processes and system rules.
• Support the successful implementation of our platform for new and existing customers.

About You

• You have 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Configuration Analyst, or in a similar analytical role, preferably within financial services.
• You have experience or a strong understanding of financial products and processes, ideally within Dutch mortgages, consumer lending, or other lending services.
• You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and are confident working with customers, technical teams, and external partners.
• You can independently analyse complex requirements, challenge stakeholders when needed, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• You have an interest in system configuration, business rules, or rules engines. Hands-on experience with configuration tools or banking platforms is a plus.
• Experience working with implementation partners or system integrators is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• You are based in Amsterdam or the surrounding area and are comfortable travelling to client sites when needed.
• Dutch language skills are a strong plus, given the focus on the Dutch financial services market.
