Recruitment Resourcer

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Resourcer to join our growing technical recruitment team, supporting the delivery of mechanical technician vacancies across the UK.
You will work alongside experienced Recruitment Consultants, sourcing skilled candidates for roles including HGV Technicians, PSV Engineers, LCV/Van Technicians, Plant Fitters, Workshop Technicians, Field Service Engineers and other mechanically focused positions.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' experience within an agency-led recruitment environment who enjoys candidate sourcing, speaking with people and building strong talent pipelines.
The Role
Your main responsibility will be identifying and engaging suitable mechanical and technical candidates for vacancies throughout the country.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
·Resourcing candidates across multiple mechanical technician disciplines
·Searching job boards, CV databases and LinkedIn for suitable candidates
·Conducting initial candidate screening calls
·Understanding candidates' experience, qualifications, salary expectations and location preferences
·Building and maintaining candidate pipelines for current and future vacancies
·Writing and posting engaging job adverts
·Managing candidate applications and responses
·Updating the recruitment CRM accurately
·Working closely with Recruitment Consultants to understand live vacancies and candidate requirements
·Keeping in regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment process
·Proactively identifying candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications
·Developing a strong understanding of the commercial vehicle, fleet, plant and mechanical engineering markets
What We're Looking For
You will ideally have:
·Minimum 12 months' experience within a recruitment agency environment
·Previous experience in a Resourcer, Recruitment Consultant or Candidate Consultant position
·Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting skills
·Experience using job boards such as CV-Library, Reed or similar
·Confidence using LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms
·A confident and professional telephone manner
·Strong communication and relationship-building skills
·Good organisational skills and attention to detail
·The ability to work across multiple vacancies at the same time
·A proactive and target-driven approach
Experience recruiting within automotive, engineering, transport, plant, manufacturing or technical recruitment would be advantageous, but full sector training can be provided.
