About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Quotes & Costings Estimator to collaborate closely with the Quotes and wider Sales teams in delivering competitive proposals to both new and long-standing clients. Accountable to the Senior Quotes & Costings Estimator, you will ensure every quotation meets exact customer specifications and is delivered right on schedule.
In this key commercial position, you will evaluate manufacturing methods, perform detailed box build costings, and utilize ERP systems to fuel business growth and sales expansion.
What you’ll be doing

Pricing out the most cost-effective assembly paths for new products.
- ERP Systems & Data Management: Mastering the Epicor ERP system, focusing specifically on the quotation module and report generation. Uploading assembly operations and times into Epicor to automatically compile quotes, alongside building offline cost models using structured Excel spreadsheets.
- BOMs & Supplier Management: Compiling Bills of Materials (BOMs) tailored to client needs, leveraging existing Nemco stock wherever feasible. Distributing BOMs to suppliers, compiling material costings from their feedback, and actively negotiating and challenging supplier pricing to secure the best possible rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Challenge: Partnering with the Managing Director, Head of Sales & Marketing, production, purchasing, and engineering groups as required. Interrogating production assembly times, particularly when estimated times fall short of actual build durations.
- Quality & Environmental Compliance: Operating strictly within ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 quality guidelines, while observing company environmental policies and instructions to keep ecological footprints to a minimum.
Every day brings variety and the chance to build deeper commercial expertise.
