Operations Accountant

At Muntons, we're passionate about continuous improvement, innovation and making informed decisions that drive business success. We're looking for an Operations Accountant who is curious, analytical and keen to work closely with operational teams to make a real impact.

This is more than a reporting role. You'll be at the heart of the business, turning data into meaningful insight, challenging the status quo, and helping managers understand the financial drivers behind performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing financial analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making.

• Monitoring inventory, stock provisions and manufacturing costs.

• Investigating and explaining production and cost variances.

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews.

• Partnering with managers to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

• Maintaining robust financial controls and supporting audit activities.

What We're Looking For

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

• Strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates.

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate numbers into clear business insights.

• Manufacturing or operational finance experience is desirable but not essential.
