About the role

Interact regularly with team members located in different regions and occasionally with leadership on a range of topics.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and direction.
Architect solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmap and technical strategy.
Implement and advocate for best practices in software engineering and design patterns.
Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.
Maintain and enhance existing software applications to optimize performance and functionality.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years hands-on experience with Java, Spring, RDBMS.
Strong object oriented design and development skills, data-structures and algorithms, and design patterns.
Excellent analytical ability.
Strong experience with relational databases logical modelling.
Strength in querying large relational databases in an optimized manner.
A culture of incorporating unit test cases when designing systems using Junit.
Ability to write scripts in Shell/Python.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
The candidate will work in a global team where clear and concise communication skills are a must.
Work independently following proper coding standards.
Exposure to leveraging AI agents and automation tools across software development, validation, and production deployment.
Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian/English language skills is a must.
