Finance Assistant

Maybe you’re the person who follows up without being asked and enjoys turning loose ends into things that are actually done. If so, you might be the Finance Assistant we’re looking for.

As Midsummer continues to expand internationally, our Finance team is looking for a new colleague. You’ll support the day-to-day financial operations behind a company that develops and manufactures flexible thin-film solar technology, with a particular focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable and finance administration.

What you’ll do

• Review, code and process supplier invoices

• Support customer invoicing and register incoming payments

• Prepare payments and reconcile customer and supplier accounts

• Follow up on overdue invoices, missing approvals and documentation

• Manage employee expenses, receipts and company cards

• Maintain customer and supplier master data

• Answer finance-related questions from colleagues, customers and suppliers

• Support the Finance team with other financial and administrative tasks when needed

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, pays attention to detail and takes responsibility for getting things done.

You probably:

• Work accurately and like keeping track of the details

• Take initiative and follow tasks through

• Enjoy helping others and being part of a team

• Feel comfortable using Excel and other digital tools

• Communicate well in both Swedish and English

• Are curious, eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions

Maybe you’ve studied finance, accounting, business administration or a related field. Maybe you’ve gained relevant experience through work. Either way, you have a foundation to build on and an interest in developing within finance.

You’ll join an international company where technology, manufacturing and sustainability meet. In the Finance team, you’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, gain insight into different parts of the business and have the opportunity to develop as Midsummer expands internationally.

No two days are exactly the same. The invoices, however, tend to keep coming.
