Care Workers – Gloucestershire (Full UK Licence required)

We are recruiting  Zero Hour Contract Domiciliary Care Workers  for our  Home Care services in Gloucestershire. A full UK driving licence is required. 

As a Care Worker. you will be required to provide daily domiciliary care to the elderly and to vulnerable adults in their homes.

You will be responsible for  safeguarding and supporting  Service User  in our care according to their care plan, following the procedures in place to safeguard them. You will attend to any arising Service User queries, complaints, and challenges, including maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date documentation on all cases of safeguarding.Other duties and tasks may include medication administration, personal care, meal preparation and feeding, cleaning and accompanying during visits in the community.

Hours of work will be allocated on a shift basis.

What experience and qualifications do you need:

• Relevant work experience in a support worker or care worker role is desirable as full training is provided
• A genuine passion for care
• A strong team player
• Resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support when needed
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy
• NVQ 1/2 Health and Social Care Certificate (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence is desirable but not required.
