Are you interested in software quality and how a SaaS service is developed from idea to production? We’re looking for an intern in Jyväskylä who wants to learn software testing hands-on as part of a real product development team.

What will you be doing?
You’ll work closely with our Testing Developer and the development team. You’ll see the entire development journey of a SaaS product, from design to testing and production. You’ll get involved in:

• manual testing: testing new features and identifying bugs
• test automation: learning to design, implement and make use of automated tests
• AI-assisted testing: exploring and developing the possibilities of AI in testing together with the team
• the development team’s day-to-day work: seeing how quality is built in at different stages of development.

Your tasks will take shape according to your skills and interests.

What are we looking for?
No previous work experience in testing or software development is required. What matters most is your motivation to learn. We require that you have completed at least half of your degree studies. In addition, we hope you have:

• a genuine interest in testing and quality assurance, and a basic understanding of what a tester does
• a precise, careful and curious approach to work
• a willingness to learn new tools and technologies
• teamwork skills and the courage to ask questions
• spoken Finnish skills and the ability to work with English-language documentation (the team’s spoken language is Finnish; written communication is in English).

What do we offer?
A paid internship and hands-on experience of real SaaS product development. You’ll also get support from an experienced Testing Developer and software developers, as well as a broad view of manual testing, automation and the use of AI.

Practical details

• Location: Jyväskylä, on-site
• Duration: 4–6 months, as agreed
• Working hours: full-time, or partly part-time by agreement
• Start date: as soon as possible
