About the role
McCaskie is hiring a Field Service Engineer to join its agricultural engineering team. The role is full-time, based at our Stirling head office and covering farms across Central and Southern Scotland. You will install, service and repair dairy and livestock equipment on farm, with full training, a competitive salary and a company vehicle.
We are a family-run business serving farms across Scotland since 1957, and our engineers keep dairy and livestock farms running every day. On site you will work on milking parlours, milk cooling tanks, feeding systems and ventilation. No two days are the same, and the problem-solving is real.
What you will do:
- Install, service and repair dairy and livestock equipment on farm
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and put them right
- Carry out planned maintenance and respond to call-outs
- Build trusted relationships with farmers across your patch
What we are looking for:
- A mechanical, electrical or agricultural engineering background
- A full UK driving licence
- A practical, self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working independently out on farm
What we offer:
- Full training, with support to develop
- Competitive salary and company vehicle
- The backing of an established, respected Scottish team
- Long-term career stability in a business trusted since 1957
Hours: full-time. Base: Stirling (4 Munro Road, Springkerse Industrial Estate, FK7 7UU). To apply, send your CV and a short note about yourself to info@mccaskie.co.uk.
