Apprentice Service Advisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Service Advisor to kick-start their career in the automotive industry. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of vehicle servicing, customer interaction, and sales support while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their vehicle service needs in a professional manner
• Support the Service Advisors by preparing job cards and updating customer records accurately
• Learn to upsell additional services or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
• Handle cash transactions securely, including processing payments and issuing receipts
• Maintain a clean and organized service reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Develop mechanical knowledge by understanding basic vehicle servicing procedures and repairs
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally

Skills

• Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Willingness to learn about vehicle mechanics and dealership processes
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a desire to assist others effectively
• Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive technology is advantageous
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK Driving License
• GCSE (or equivalent) grades 9 - 4 (A - C) in English, Maths and one other subject
