Role Conditions

• Contract Length: 2026/2027 winter season
• Shift Pattern: Mon–Fri (50-60 hour weeks)
• Rate – £30ph
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Composite Mechanic to support their base maintenance and engineering activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Base Maintenance
• Metal-to-metal bond, wet lay-up repairs in workshop and on-wing environment
• Carrying out routine maintenance and defect rectification

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Proven Base Maintenance experience in a Composite Mechanic environment
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date documentation – EWIS 4+5, FTS 1+2, HF Initial and Refresher, SMS Certificates
• Foamed toolbox with full inventory and etching
