We have an exciting new opportunity for a Care of the Elderly Consultant

Vacancy Type: Part-Time

Contract Type: Temp Contract

Start Date: 11/11/2026

End Date: 13/11/2026

Shift Days: Wednesday - Friday

Shift Times: 09:00 - 17:00

Duties:

- Ward Rounds

- Frailty SDEC

- SPA

The role will involve assessing and managing older patients with complex medical needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, supporting ward-based activity, and maintaining excellent clinical standards throughout the placement.

Experience Required:

- Extensive experience in Care of the Elderly / Geriatric Medicine

- Full GMC registration with licence to practise

- Relevant Consultant-level NHS experience

- Ability to manage complex elderly care patients independently

- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
