Job Description

HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a large and successful manufacturing business, to support them with the hire of a new Finance Business Partner to join the team, working closely with the MD of one of their divisions.

About the role:

This is a newly created role to partner the MD of one of their divisions. You will have ownership of the P&L and Balance sheet and your division’s performance, and will deliver forecasts and budgets. You will be critical in shaping the strategy of the business and driving performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate forecasts and budgets
• Produce costing and variance analysis with relevant commentary to provide clear insight into production performance
• Present insightful Management Information to senior stakeholders across the business
• Continuous improvement of financial planning processes
• Ownership of balance sheet and P&L for your division, working closely with site accountants
• Work actively with the MD to support the business strategy and drive decision making and continuous growth

About You:

• Qualified Accountant or equivalent
• Strong business partnering experience, used to influencing senior non-finance stakeholders
• Commercial acumen and an ability to support strategic decision making
• Ability to challenge the status quo
• Team player with a strong motivation to succeed
• Background in Manufacturing (desirable)
• Strong Excel skills

What’s on offer:

• Salary c£65-70k
• Hybrid working – please note there is some travel nationally required with this role (details can be provided)
