About the role
Lead the experience of complex SaaS products, from framing the opportunity to measured results. You make hard products feel obvious.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the workstream and the client relationship, turning business goals, user needs and technical constraints into a clear experience strategy.
- Establish the facts before designing: review analytics, audit existing flows, benchmark competitors, run or support research and usability testing.
- Define the interaction model, information architecture and flows for complex products: multi-role permissions, dashboards, billing, data-heavy tools.
- Produce high-fidelity screens and interactive prototypes in Figma that show both design and behavior.
- Create and scale design systems: documentation, audits, component QA.
- Record key decisions and the reasoning behind them, so the client’s team can trace why the product works the way it does. Agree success metrics at the start and evaluate the shipped work against them.
- Use AI across the process, from research synthesis to early prototypes and documentation, so more of your time goes into judgment and craft.
- Contribute to discovery workshops, proposals and pitches, and to a culture of critique and mentoring.
What we’d like to see:
- 5+ years in product, interaction or experience design at a design company, consultancy or SaaS company, with ownership of end-to-end workstreams.
- A portfolio that shows interaction design, visual craft and strategic thinking, with the problem, the trade-offs and the outcome visible in each case.
- High proficiency in Figma: interaction logic, components, variables and tokens.
- A structured approach to interaction patterns across desktop and mobile, and to product logic through flows, site maps and wireframes.
- Experience creating and scaling design systems for B2B or SaaS products.
- Everyday use of AI tools: exploring directions, turning ideas into clickable or coded prototypes, synthesizing research. You can walk us through what you used, how, and what it changed, and where the output can’t be trusted.
- Can present decisions clearly to business and technical audiences, and work autonomously with engineering.
- Knowledge of accessibility principles (WCAG 2.2).
- Business-level English.
Nice to have, but not required:
- Experience designing AI-powered features or products.
- Hands-on prototyping with AI tools or code (v0, Cursor, Claude or similar).
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel or Hotjar.
Why working with us will be a great fit:
- Smart projects first. Work that sparks curiosity and rewards clear thinking, from concept to polished execution.
- Paid AI tools. Use what helps you do your best work. We cover it.
- No bureaucracy. Clear briefs, structured support, fast feedback. Meetings only when they matter.
- Global clients, close team. Clients across the US and Europe, and a tight-knit team that values autonomy, clarity and good humor.
- Room to grow. Regular design reviews, 1-on-1 mentorship and internal knowledge sharing.
