Overview

Due to the continued expansion of our Workshop, we are looking for the following experienced Technicians to join our team:

• Bodyshop sprayer
• Mechanic
• Caravan and Motorhome Technician.

Working in your own bay, with your own ramp, this is an ideal role for any qualified , or partly qualified Technician who wants a change and is looking for an opportunity to work in a great environment with an excellent, established team.

Equally, we would be open to help the right person to become a Technician, through in house and external training. If you like to work on vehicles, or have plumbing, carpentry or electrical experience, but have not found the right opportunity, we’d like to hear from you too.

Roles & Responsibilities

Typically a qualified Technician would carry out the following tasks:

• Completing services on caravans and motorhomes
• Following a job card and updating it on your own tablet to let the service admin team know the progress of the job.
• Diagnosing customer reported faults
• Completing repairs to plumbing, heating, electrics and bodywork
• Fitting new parts, and fixing broken ones

Typically a Bodyshop sprayer would carry out the following tasks:

• Prepare a caravan or motorhome for smart repairs, or full bodywork repairs
• Complete repairs using plastic welds
• Carry out spray repairs to a high standard
• Following a job card and updating it on your own tablet to let the service admin team know the progress of the job.

Typically our in house mechanic would carry out the following tasks:

• Following a job card and updating it on your own tablet to let the service admin team know the progress of the job.
• Carry out mechanical servicing to aid in the maintenance of cab warranty
• Carry out mechanical repairs through diagnosing and rectifying faults
• Replace cam-belts and other core components.

The Candidate

• Previous experience as a Technician, Mechanic, or Bodyshop Sprayer is desirable
• Practical experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, or vehicle maintenance would be advantageous
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using a tablet to update job progress and records
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Able to work effectively as part of an established team
• Full UK driving licence preferred
