Responsibilities:

• Organizing freight transportation using refrigerated, curtain-sided, container or other types of semi-trailers, depending on your existing experience.
• Coordinating freight shipments from point A to point B.
• Communicating with existing carriers and sourcing new ones in Lithuania and Western Europe.
• Managing customer relationships by maintaining regular contact with existing clients and being their first point of contact for any questions or needs. Actively seeking new customers and freight – opportunities.
• Monitoring freight exchanges and market availability to stay up to date with market trends and secure the best possible terms.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• Experience in freight forwarding, including route planning, carrier selection and shipment tracking.
• Good spoken and written command of at least one foreign language (e.g. English, Russian or another language).
• Good computer skills and the ability to use digital tools effectively.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best possible terms.
• A responsible and proactive approach, with strong planning skills and the ability to react quickly and deliver results, even under tight deadlines.
