Senior Front-End Engineer | Investment AnalyticsReact | TypeScript | Snowflake Location: London Indicative rate: £600-£750 per dayExperis is supporting a leading financial services organisation looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to build a new investment analytics application.The application will help investment professionals explore portfolio risk, compare performance, investigate exceptions and model different investment scenarios.You'll take complex investment requirements and turn them into clear, responsive user journeys, working directly with investment users and alongside engineering, data and architecture colleagues.This role will suit someone who enjoys combining strong software engineering with complex data, interactive visualisation and practical problem solving.What you'll be doing: * Building data-rich applications using React and TypeScript. * Integrating interfaces with Snowflake data, APIs and calculation services. * Developing interactive charts, high-volume data grids, filtering and drill-down functionality. * Supporting portfolio comparisons, scenario analysis and exception-review workflows. * Working with users to understand requirements, demonstrate solutions and incorporate feedback. * Building secure, accessible applications with appropriate access controls and auditable workflows. * Maintaining automated testing, code-review and CI/CD standards.What we're looking for: * Strong commercial React and TypeScript development experience. * A track record building complex analytical applications with substantial datasets. * Hands-on Snowflake experience and an understanding of how applications query and consume data. * Experience with interactive visualisation or grid technologies such as AG Grid, Highcharts, D3 or Plotly. * Automated testing experience using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress. * Confidence discussing requirements and explaining technical decisions to business stakeholders. * An understanding of authentication, role-based access and secure handling of sensitive data. Streamlit and Python experience would be particularly valuable.Experience within investment management, wealth management, banking, risk analytics or financial technology would also be useful. Strong technical candidates from other complex, data-intensive environments will be considered.You'll have dedicated data-engineering support, with your focus on delivering the application and user experience.Interested?
