  • Scheduling and sequencing production orders to meet customer demand and forecasts.

  • Balancing production capacity, labour availability, machine constraints and material requirements.

  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure materials are available when required.

  • Working closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Customer Service.

  • Monitoring planning performance, including schedule adherence and plan achievement.

  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve planning efficiency and operational performance.

  • Supporting wider planning processes, including S&OP and S&OE.

  • Contributing to improvements in ERP systems, planning processes and data accuracy.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

  • At least three years' experience in Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling and capacity planning.

  • Experience managing complex production plans and competing priorities.

  • A good understanding of wider supply chain principles, including inventory management.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

Experience with advanced planning systems or Plant Master would be advantageous.

A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience will be considered.
