Inhouse SAP S/4HANA Cloud & BTP Engineer

In-house IT | Internal Technology Function

Location: 100% Remote (Germany wide)
Contract: Full-time 
 

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP & S/4HANA Cloud Engineer to join the internal technology function of a large, established organisation.

This is a genuine in-house IT role, where you will take ownership of the organisation\'s own SAP cloud environment, supporting its development, integration and continuous improvement.

You will play a key role in managing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integrating SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and driving automation and cloud technology initiatives

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure and optimise SAP BTP environments.

• Develop and maintain integrations between SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

• Support cloud infrastructure, connectivity and system performance.

• Drive automation initiatives using SAP Build Process Automation and related technologies.

• Establish technical standards, architecture guidelines and best practices.

• Ensure cloud security, governance and compliance.

• Work closely with internal IT teams, developers and business stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the SAP landscape.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and integrations.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform and/or Ansible.

• Understanding of SAP automation technologies and SAP Build Process Automation.

• Knowledge of cloud security, governance and infrastructure management.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent German and English.

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Working Environment & Benefits

• Remote Working: 100% Remote, with the option to use a local office.

• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours.

• Travel: Minimal. Approximately four team meetings per year
