Creative Production Executive

The Creative Production Executive is responsible for supporting the delivery and continued growth of DBTV, DBpixelhouse’s creative content and video production offering.

Main Function

The role combines hands-on creative production with client-facing project support, working closely with Sales, Operations and Technical teams to develop and deliver high-quality content for live events, exhibitions, digital campaigns and wider client projects.

A key part of the role is helping to develop DBTV into a scalable commercial service by supporting new ideas, improving production workflows and identifying opportunities to expand the creative services DBpixelhouse can offer.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable taking creative ownership, working directly with clients and contributing to the longer-term development of DBTV.

Main Duties

  • Take ownership of assigned creative projects from initial brief through to concept development, production, client review and final delivery.
  • Work with clients and Account Managers to understand project objectives, interpret briefs and recommend appropriate creative solutions.
  • Develop scripts, storyboards and creative concepts for video, digital and event content.
  • Plan and deliver filming for events, interviews, testimonials, promotional content and other client requirements, using single or multi-camera setups where appropriate.
  • Edit and finish professional video content including highlight reels, promotional films, social clips, interviews, testimonials and branded content.
  • Create motion graphics, animated assets, lower thirds, logo stings, captions and other supporting visual content.
  • Produce content suitable for LED walls, large-format displays, digital signage and other live event technologies.
  • Support event photography and wider content capture for client, case-study and marketing use.
  • Provide rapid-turnaround and same-day editing where required for live event and social media delivery.
  • Prepare, test and implement content for live event environments, working with Technical and Operations teams to ensure correct formats, resolutions, playback requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Manage client feedback and amendments efficiently, maintaining clear communication throughout the production process.
  • Support Account Managers with creative input, service recommendations and production requirements when developing client proposals and opportunities.
  • Maintain organised project files, templates, media assets and archives to support efficient and repeatable production workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to grow DBTV through new services, packages, production approaches and wider application across DBpixelhouse client projects.
  • Support the development of DBTV’s creative production capability, including new tools, technologies and service offerings.
  • Support DBpixelhouse marketing activity through case studies, social content, internal communications and other creative assets where required.

Other Duties

In addition to the main responsibilities, the post holder is expected to:

  • Maintain a professional, positive and helpful attitude at all times with clients, senior management, colleagues and team members.
  • Work diligently and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Remain flexible in supporting other departments and wider business requirements where reasonably required.
  • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions.
  • Comply with all Company policies, procedures and authority levels.
  • Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties as requested to support the needs of the business.

Key Personal Attributes

  • Strong hands-on experience in video editing, motion graphics and creative content production.
  • Confident use of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Practical filming experience with a good understanding of camera operation, composition, lighting and audio.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with a good eye for branding, typography and detail.
  • Confidence communicating directly with clients, interpreting briefs and recommending creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage projects from brief through to delivery and work effectively across multiple deadlines.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced live events and production environment.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how creative services can add value to wider AV and event projects.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to suggest ideas, identify opportunities and contribute to the development of DBTV.
  • Experience within live events, exhibitions, AV, experiential, agency, broadcast or branded content environments is desirable.
  • Additional skills in areas such as 3D visualisation, animation, immersive or interactive content, real-time graphics, live streaming and VFX, would be highly desirable and could support the future development of DBTV.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and events across the UK and internationally, including overnight stays and weekend working where required.
  • Flexibility to work extended on-site hours when project delivery requires.

Commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability

As a member of DBpixelhouse, you are expected to actively support the integration of health, safety, environmental and sustainability principles within your area of responsibility.

This includes working in accordance with the Company’s Integrated Business Management System (BMS), following relevant policies and procedures, identifying and reporting hazards, and supporting the delivery of safe, compliant and sustainably managed events.

You are also expected to support DBpixelhouse’s objectives under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 20121 and contribute to continual improvement across quality, safety, environmental and event sustainability performance.
