At Datek Next you will find expertise with extensive experience in delivering development services in programming, hardware, and software design. We primarily provide services to the power, energy, defence, and space industries.

Our core competence is the development of safety-critical products and solutions. We use many different technologies and have broad expertise among our developers and our team gets to participate in a wide range of projects.

We either work on-site as a part of our client’s team or from our secured facilities in Lillestrøm.  The position requires that you can obtain security clearance in Norway and NATO. Read more about security clearance at www.nsm.no

Resposibilities and tasks:

• Work in development teams either at our clients' sites or in our offices in Lillestrøm.
• Contribute to the development of advanced and innovative solutions.
• Backend and frontend development.
• Programming, testing, deployment, and scaling of systems and solutions.
• Customer follow-up related to development work.
• Documentation and training.

Desired qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in software development with C++
• College-level education, but relevant experience can compensate for lack of education.
• Experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages/technologies (C++, Qt, or Rust).
• Experience in Edge computing or Cloud computing (AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Norwegian and English is a prerequisite.
