Behind every smooth journey is a skilled team keeping our vehicles in top shape—and now, we're looking for an experienced HGV/PSV Mechanic to join us.Role OverviewAs a key member of our workshop team, you'll carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including DAF, Vanhool, Volvo and Mercedes. You'll help diagnose issues before they become problems and ensure our coaches are road-ready every day.Main DutiesDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issuesReplacing or repairing faulty parts and componentsCarrying out inspections and preventative maintenanceKeeping accurate records of all work performedMaintaining high safety and performance standards across the fleetWhat You Get in Return£23.00 per hour with guaranteed 40+ hours per week8-10 hour shiftsMonday-Friday with weekend availabilityNo lunch break deductionsPaid holidaysOvertime opportunitiesOvertime paid at time and a quarter£100 weekend shift allowancePrivate dental and medical insuranceCompany pensionEmployee discountsFree onsite parkingWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as an HGV/PSV mechanic or similar roleStrong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical diagnosticsComfortable with physically demanding work and heavy liftingFull, valid UK driving licenceAbility to work effectively as part of a teamD&E Coaches offers a safe, relaxed and supportive working environment, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career development.
