DC Inbound Outbound Manager

The DC Inbound Outbound Manager is responsible for  overseeing the day-to-day operations within the distribution center (DC). This position is responsible for leading and managing a team of associates to ensure efficient and accurate handling of inventory, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety protocols. The DC Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive productivity, and achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Inbound (receiving, inspection, put-away, system entry) and Outbound (picking, packing, loading) operations
• Ensure all shipments are accurately received, verified against purchase orders, and recorded in the WMS
• Monitor order accuracy and conduct quality checks to maintain high operational standards
• Supervise the flow of goods within the warehouse and ensure efficient inventory handling
• Track stock levels and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers
• Lead and support the team, allocating tasks effectively and ensuring smooth daily execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, sales, customer service) to resolve operational issues
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and proper use of equipment
• Review performance metrics, prepare operational reports, and plan upcoming activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills for motivating and developing staff.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team interaction.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting data and making data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
