Location: Edinburgh and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to oversee interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive construction professional who can take ownership of site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of site operations across interior fit-out projects.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Ensure all works are completed in line with programme deadlines, specifications and quality standards.

  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring site compliance and safe working practices at all times.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement solutions to keep works on track.

  • Liaise with clients, project managers, contractors and other stakeholders throughout each project.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure workmanship meets the required standards.

  • Manage site documentation, progress reports, RAMS and relevant health and safety records.

  • Oversee deliveries, materials and resources to ensure efficient site operations.

  • Proactively resolve on-site challenges while maintaining a professional and solutions-focused approach.

About You

The successful candidate will be an organised, confident and hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in construction, ideally within commercial interiors, fit-out or refurbishment.

You will have:

  • Proven experience managing construction sites and coordinating multiple trades.

  • A strong understanding of interior fit-out and refurbishment processes.

  • Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.

  • A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance.

  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and programmes.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.

  • A full UK driving licence.

Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card are highly desirable.

What’s on Offer?

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

  • The opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of interior fit-out projects.

  • A supportive and professional working environment.

  • Long-term career development opportunities.

  • The chance to take ownership of projects and make a real impact on their successful delivery.
