Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company’s infrastructure and software development processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based systems, automation tools, and be able to work collaboratively with development teams to implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure and applications
• Develop and implement automated deployment pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Manage and monitor production environments to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality software
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
• Strong experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of networking and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Pulumi
• Knowledge of database management and optimization (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and processes
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps methodologies
• Certifications in relevant cloud technologies such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud DevOps Engineer
• Experience with microservices architecture and deployment
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit)
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or SaltStack
