Direct Access Clerk

Barrister Connect provides direct access to barristers serving every court and tribunal in England and Wales. We are expanding our team in Taunton, Somerset and seeking a motivated sales professional to help match members of the public with the right legal experts.

At its core this is a fast-paced, target-driven sales role. You will own enquiries from the first conversation through to instruction: qualifying leads by telephone, email and live chat, understanding each client's situation, building trust, presenting quotes and converting them, and logging activity in HubSpot. The enquiries are warm, from people actively seeking help, so the role is consultative rather than cold-calling. Sales or conversion experience in any industry is a real advantage and transfers directly. The legal knowledge is learned on the job.

Open to candidates with a background in sales, customer service, or any people-facing work, including recent graduates and career-changers.
