Your Role

Reporting to the Finance team at Christopher Ward SA, our production and assembly entity based in Biel/Bienne, you will play an important role in driving the company's financial and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Monitor monthly costs and expenses by department
• Analyze production variances and provide meaningful explanations
• Prepare monthly management reporting
• Review and analyze product cost variances
• Analyze Work in Progress (WIP) balances and provide commentary on trends and movements
• Perform monthly inventory and stock movement analyses
• Monitor and analyze Research & Development (R&D) costs
• Prepare monthly customer invoices
• Prepare selected accounting entries and related reconciliations
• Review and validate supplier returns in the ERP system
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and management reporting tools

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
• Initial experience in management controlling, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a genuine affinity for working with numbers.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, curious, and solution-driven mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage.
• Strong interest in working within a fast-growing and evolving business environment.
• Fluency in either French or German, with a good command of English.

Votre mission:

Rattaché(e) à l'équipe Finance de Christopher Ward SA, notre entité de production et d'assemblage basée à Biel/Bienne, vous jouerez un rôle important dans le pilotage de la performance financière et opérationnelle de l'entreprise.

Vos principales responsabilités seront les suivantes:

• Participer à l'élaboration des budgets annuels et des prévisions financières
• Assurer le suivi mensuel des coûts et dépenses par département
• Analyser les écarts de production et proposer des explications pertinentes
• Préparer et développer le reporting mensuel destiné au management
• Contrôler les écarts de coûts de revient des produits
• Analyser les encours de production (WIP) et commenter leurs évolutions
• Réaliser les analyses mensuelles des stocks et des mouvements d'inventaire
• Assurer le suivi et l'analyse des coûts de recherche et développement (R&D)
• Participer à la préparation de la facturation clients
• Préparer certaines écritures comptables et réconciliations associées
• Contrôler et valider les retours fournisseurs dans l'ERP
• Contribuer à l'amélioration continue des processus financiers et des outils de gestion.

Votre profil

• Formation supérieure en finance, comptabilité, contrôle de gestion ou domaine équivalent
• Première expérience en contrôle de gestion, de préférence dans un environnement industriel
• Excellentes capacités analytiques et goût prononcé pour les chiffres
• Personne rigoureuse, proactive, curieuse et orientée solution
• Solides compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément
• Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Excel, Jet Reports ou Power BI : un atout
• Expérience avec un ERP ( Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) un avantage
• Intérêt marqué pour un environnement en forte croissance et en constante évolution
• Excellente maîtrise du français ou de l'allemand, avec de bonnes connaissances de l'anglais.
