Children & Families Minister

This is an exciting opportunity for a FULL TIME Children and Families Minister at Christ Church & St Paul’s, Anerley. Christ Church & St Paul’s is one church on two locations, located near Crystal Palace in urban south-east London.  We’re an evangelical charismatic Anglican church within the Diocese of Rochester. We have strong community relationships and rejoice in a congregation drawn from many nationalities and backgrounds.This 5-year fixed term post is part of the Diocesan ‘Called Together’ strategy.Building upon growth, we’re looking for someone to lead and develop ministry with children and families, building a relational model of discipleship and supporting long-term growth in faith and belonging. Over the next five years, we are seeking to:Develop, equip and empower volunteers in ministry to the rising generations and their familiesEngage 150 children and their families in discipleshipEstablish 5 new worshipping communitiesThis is a new role with scope to shape and develop the ministry. You will work alongside a supportive team and nurture volunteers in a ‘can-do’ culture that seeks to equip and release whole-life discipleship through the Holy Spirit.
