Overview

As a result of significant growth, our client is seeking an Environmental Advisor to be based on a project located in Inverness, Scotland on a permanent, staff basis. Environmental experience within an Overhead Lines, Underground Cabling and Civils environment is preferable although not essential. This is a hybrid role that would suit someone based in England or Wales who is flexible to travel to project sites.

Support the implementation of the client’s environmental strategy and approach to environmental management including the implementation of the client’s environmental standards | Provide technical support to facilitate the environmental plan to ensure that environmental aspects are appropriately managed and that the client’s HSSE policy obligations are enacted | Assist in the identification of, understand and communicate the legal, industrial and contractual environmental obligations placed on the client | Assist in the development and provision of training on key environmental risks to facilitate greater environmental awareness across the business | Work with assurance teams in developing and undertaking environmental inspections and audits where required | Provide the business with techni
