About the role

BSI Merch & Artist Services is the UK’s leading independent music merchandise company, with offices in London, Berlin and Tokyo. We design, produce and supply artist merchandise worldwide across touring, e-commerce and production, working with artists such as [Franz Ferdinand, Kneecap and others].

We’re looking for a Tour Merchandise Coordinator to join our Berlin office and run the merchandise side of our artists’ tours from first range discussion to final settlement. You’ll work closely with every part of the business (art, production, account management, logistics and finance) to get the right products to the right shows in the right quantities.

The role

Full time, office-based, Monday to Friday in Kreuzberg, Berlin. Hours are 09:00–17:00 or 09:30–17:30.

What you’ll do

Planning and forecasting

  • Work with clients and account managers to agree final product ranges for each tour

  • Research each artist’s previous product lines and sales history

  • Set sizing and quantities to suit the artist’s current audience

  • Build projections covering gross profit, spend per head, fees and tour expenses

  • Set up, forecast, manage and reconcile each tour in atVenu

Logistics and stock

  • Organise product shipping, choosing the best routes and handling split and drop shipments

  • Track and adjust inventory after every show, submitting reorders to production

  • Keep projections current to avoid overstocking

On the road

  • Advance shows and tours with tour managers, production managers and venues

  • Hire local vendors and negotiate merchandise contracts where possible

  • Recruit touring merchandise managers to represent BSI on the road

  • Run smaller tour operations directly

  • Attend shows to check quality and keep logistics running smoothly

Reporting and settlement

  • Collect card batch reports, receipts and expense reports from the road

  • Maintain templates covering sales, tax, venue share, vend fees, expenses and shipping costs

  • Produce tour summary reports with our accounts team

Relationships

  • Stay in regular contact with tour managers, production managers and clients

  • Talk with clients about future tours, new designs and what they need from us

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience in music, touring or merchandise

  • Strong Excel skills, plus confidence with Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint (atVenu experience is a bonus)

  • Clear, confident written and spoken communication, with clients and crews alike

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle several tours at once

  • A commercial mindset: you think ahead, spot problems early and care about results

  • Calm under pressure and reliable on deadlines

  • References

What we offer

  • Work with a wide range of artists, from emerging acts to established names

  • A great, fast-growing team

  • A modern office in Kreuzberg

  • Discounts on a monthly BVG ticket and Urban Sports Club membership
