Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team. This is a day-based role, carrying out electrical installation and associated work across our large manufacturing site.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:30 | Friday 8:00 to 16:00

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, testing and maintenance work.

Install electrical systems, equipment, containment, cabling and associated components.

Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Complete work to a high standard, in line with relevant regulations and company procedures.

Carry out fault finding and remedial works where required, both reactive and proactive

Work safely and maintain good housekeeping on site in line with company standards

Complete installation records, test certificates and job reports.

Liaise professionally with site teams and colleagues.

Ensure all work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Electrical Installation Engineer or similar role.

Relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.

Good understanding of electrical installation practices and regulations.

Ability to read electrical drawings.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Advantageous skills and experience

Apprentice trained in Electrical Duties.

Knowledge of AC/DC Motors operation.

A good understanding of the I.E.E Regulation and implementation of.

Knowledgeable in the area of Predictive Maintenance.

Experience in working with a Computer Maintenance Management System.

Working knowledge and experience of CDM regulations.
