Introduction
Broking is a fast-paced, results-driven profession that offers a unique and rewarding career in global markets, whether your focus is Shipping or Commodities.
Global trade relies on both the movement of goods and the markets that price them – so brokers play a key role in shaping the industry.
It’s a dynamic and fulfilling career, where no two days are the same, and every day brings the opportunity to make a real impact.
"Shipbroking is very global, everchanging, there’s dynamism and a lot of variety, and there is always something to learn"Jay Parvin
Trainee Shipbroker
The role
Shipbrokers are specialist intermediaries who facilitate the movement of goods products and negotiate between shipowners and charterers.
Commodities brokers operate in market-driven environments helping clients trade and manage risk.
What it takes
It takes drive, ambition and dedication to become a successful broker so if that sounds like you, we encourage you to apply to join our Trainee broker Programme.
Successful brokers develop long-term relationships with clients, built on trust and high-quality service. A strong work ethic is essential as you’ll be expected to deliver value and results early on.
We invest in your development, so we are looking for people who are highly motivated with a drive to succeed.
Our Programme
Our trainee broker programme is designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to develop a strong foundation and career in shipping or in commodities.
