Duty Security Manager – Fixed Term – 12 Month Contract – 40 Hours per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Duty Security Manager to join our Security Team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced security professional to lead frontline operations, ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of airport activities while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Security Officers during daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with all security regulations, airport procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor security screening activities and operational performance standards.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and operational issues, taking appropriate action as required.
• Conduct briefings, coaching, and on-the-job training for team members.
• Complete reports, investigations, and administrative duties accurately and within required timescales.
• Liaise with internal departments, airlines, contractors, and external agencies to maintain safe and secure operations.
• Promote a positive safety and security culture throughout the airport.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous supervisory experience within a security, aviation, or operational environment.
• Be an effective leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of safety, security, and customer service.
• Have a flexible approach to working shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
• A clean driving licence.
