Your Role

You will join our data colleagues on dedicated data engagements and projects involving Axiom’s wider industry expertise. Depending on your strengths and interests, you may build technical solutions, advise clients, or combine both.

Your work could include:

• Data integration and engineering: Connecting systems and developing reliable pipelines and data models, with attention to data quality, testing, deployment, and operation.
• Data platforms and architecture: Designing and building modern data environments, making choices that balance scalability, cost, security, and usability.
• Analytics and AI: Developing reporting, analysis, and AI solutions that help clients understand performance, anticipate outcomes, improve decisions, and automate work.
• Strategy and governance: Helping clients prioritize opportunities and establish the architecture, ownership, and practices needed to get lasting value from data.

We work in teams and value complementary expertise. You do not need to cover every area, and your responsibilities will reflect your skills and experience.

Connecting Expertise to Create Value

Our work starts with understanding what the client needs to achieve. That could mean bringing together operational and financial information, improving planning, reducing manual reporting, or making data available for new analytical and AI applications.

Some engagements focus on the data foundations themselves; others connect these foundations directly to improvements in business processes and decisions.

You will have opportunities to work with colleagues who understand the client’s industry, systems, and operations. Combining that knowledge with your data expertise helps identify useful opportunities and develop solutions suited to how the business works.

Within our data team, you can share knowledge, develop your expertise, and contribute to our technical direction and services. Depending on your experience and interests, this may include guiding architectural choices, evaluating technologies, developing colleagues, or creating reusable approaches for future engagements.

What We’re Looking For

We are interested in candidates with skills or experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Data integration and data engineering
• Modern data platforms and architecture
• Data modelling, business intelligence, and visualization
• Advanced analytics, statistics, and optimization
• Machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Data quality, governance, and master data management
• Data strategy and advisory
• DevOps, DataOps, and platform operations

Experience with modern data platforms, or a strong understanding of their capabilities and design principles, is particularly valuable. We welcome backgrounds across different technologies.

You may come from consulting, an internal data or technology team, a software company, research, or another relevant environment. For those early in their careers, relevant studies, projects, and practical experience can demonstrate your potential.

Industry knowledge is an advantage, but it is not a prerequisite. We value curiosity about the client’s business and an interest in how your work creates value.
