International C+E Driver – Western Europe

Location: Paproć (near Nowy Tomyśl), Poland

We are looking for C+E category drivers for international transport.

The position is with a large transport company operating a fleet of several hundred modern tractor units. Transport is carried out across Western Europe. The company accepts drivers of any nationality, provided they have the required documents, experience, and knowledge of at least one of the working languages.

Contract

Umowa o pracę (employment contract).

Responsibilities

• carrying out international freight transport according to the client's instructions;
• driving a tractor-trailer with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes;
• monitoring cargo placement and ensuring that the load is properly secured;
• supervising loading and unloading operations;
• using the vehicle's telematics system;
• completing transport documentation, including CMR documents.

The company transports various types of cargo, including ADR goods (with a basic ADR certificate). The fleet includes curtain-sided (tautliner) and box semi-trailers.

Requirements

• C+E category driving licence;
• Code 95;
• driver card (tachograph card);
• basic ADR certificate;
• experience in international transport in Western Europe or experience working as a C+E driver in Poland;
• willingness to work on long-haul assignments.

The minimum working cycle for drivers is usually 6–8 weeks. The company prefers longer working cycles.

Driver rotation is organised according to a 1:1 system. In most cases, the changeover takes place directly on the route. Every week, the company arranges transport for drivers by company minibuses to the changeover location. After completing the working cycle, drivers are transported back to the company base in Nowy Tomyśl.

Salary

The average driver's income is 11,500–13,000 PLN net per month (take-home pay).

The salary depends on the number of calendar days in the working cycle and the driving time during each working day.

Daily rates

• 350 PLN net – for a day off, mandatory rest/break, or a day when driving time was up to 1.5 hours;
• 405 PLN net – when driving time is between 1.5 and 7.5 hours;
• 455 PLN net – when the driver drove for more than 7.5 hours.

This means that drivers are paid not only for days of active driving, but also for mandatory rest and waiting days required by law.

The minimum guaranteed income is approximately 11,900 PLN net per month.

In practice, there are almost always days each month when driving time exceeds 7.5 hours, so actual earnings usually reach 13,000 PLN net or more, depending on the specific project.

For certain clients, for example on routes involving long ferry crossings where the company covers a two-person cabin and meals, the salary may be higher than the standard rate.

Additional bonuses

Summer bonus

• 3,000 PLN – for continuous work from mid-June to the end of September;
• 2,500 PLN – for continuous work from the beginning of July to mid-September;
• 2,000 PLN – for working continuously throughout July and August.

Bonus for training new drivers

Drivers who train less experienced colleagues receive 500 PLN net for each week of training.

The company also pays additional bonuses for:

• assistance in non-standard situations;
• being ready to start a trip at short notice;
• extending the working cycle due to operational needs;
• a high level of responsibility and commitment to work.
