Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Marketing Officer on a permanent, full-time basis.

The role:

The Marketing Officer works creatively and collaboratively within the Campaigns team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns across the Globe's full offering, including education and learning, theatre and performance, guided tours and cultural tourism, retail, membership and more.

As identified with the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Campaigns, the Marketing Officer leads on specific campaigns - from creative planning to effective implementation and insightful evaluation - to increase engagement with the Globe's work and drive sales, delivering innovative content and impactful marketing activity that responds to shared revenue and audience targets.

Job Requirements

- Experience at Assistant or Officer level in marketing and/or communications (agency or in a venue/organisation, or a transferrable role requiring good attention to detail and strong communication and project management skills)
- Experience leading or supporting closely on the planning, management and analysis of marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of marketing channels
- Strong IT skills and proven experience reporting on campaign performance
- Ability to write and source good copy for marketing materials that engages audiences
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to bring enthusiasm, imagination, creativity and initiative to your work
- An interest in the work of Shakespeare's Globe
