Account Executive – Freelance

Annapurna are pleased to be supporting a leading HealthTech company based in Hamburg, offering an AI-powered software platform for hospitals. The sales team is currently being restructured and brings strong clinical expertise. They are looking for proven enterprise sales skills to complement it.

The role:

• Hands-on Account Executive, not a leadership, strategy or coaching role
• Owns a portfolio of hospitals and hospital groups, based on an existing target list and warm contacts in our CRM (Pipedrive)
• Reactivates, qualifies and drives deals through to closing
• Deal sizes in the high five- to six-figure EUR range; decision-makers at managing director and executive board level
• Can pay up to 1000 (Euros a day)

Must-haves:

• Proven track record of closing complex software deals in this size range, ideally quantified (closed volume, quota attainment, team ranking, e.g. top 10-20%)
• Roughly 3-6 years as an Account Executive in complex software sales; leadership-oriented profiles are most likely not a fit
• Fluent, business-level German (negotiation level), as all customers are German hospitals
• Willingness to attend customer meetings on-site in Germany

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in healthcare or health IT
• Interest in AI and innovative products

Terms:

• Freelance / interim, minimum 4, preferably 5 days per week
• Start ASAP, no later than 1 December 2026
• Through end of February 2027, with option to extend
• Hamburg (hybrid) preferred; remote from Germany possible; onboarding in Hamburg
