Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test products in accordance with company procedures and technical instructions.

• Work with small components, including chip-and-wire, soldered and epoxy-mounted assemblies.

• Complete work to agreed production schedules.

• Support engineers with the assembly of development devices.

• Contribute to improvements in production processes and efficiency.

• Follow health and safety procedures.

Skills and experience

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail when handling small components.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.

• Basic computer literacy.

• A flexible approach to work and changing production requirements.

Experience in a factory or production environment, particularly working to production deadlines, would be beneficial. Experience using microscopes and working with surface-mount components would also be an advantage. Please see job role specification document for more.
