Application Engineer (ATE)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Application Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will develop and deliver application solutions across ABI, SLT and ATE platforms, working closely with Engineering, Production and other cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into reliable technical solutions.

You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from defining technical requirements and developing test solutions to customer acceptance, production roll-out and ongoing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement application solutions for ABI, SLT and ATE platforms.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and scope of work.
• Support cost estimation, quotation and project planning activities.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet quality requirements.
• Manage the design, development and assembly of application boards.
• Develop, validate and optimize test programs according to customer specifications.
• Support and lead solution release, customer acceptance and production roll-out activities.
• Provide sustaining engineering support to maintain solution performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, test development or a related field.
• Good understanding of analog and digital electronics, metrology and semiconductor test processes.
• Experience in project management, including resource planning, budgeting and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry and/or ATE, ABI or SLT environments would be an advantage.
