Adlib is looking to expand its in-house lighting system technician team. We are looking for technicians with a friendly positive attitude that can rig large format lighting systems to provide the ultimate results. Despite lockdown Adlib have invested heavily into new stock and have huge opportunity and potential. We have an excellent technical support team and any additional training for systems you may not be used to will be provided in-house. We would expect people to have knowledge of specific lighting consoles, such as grandMA, Hog and Avolites, as well as an understanding of system networks and protocols such as DMX, Art-Net, MA-Net and sACN.

Main Responsibilities

System planning, design, build, and config
Ensuring deadlines are met
Prep & De-prep of equipment
Setting up and Operation of Lighting Systems
Upholding Health & Safety Standards
Maintaining equipment standards
General Housekeeping

Documentation/Reporting Responsibilities

Ensure all documentation is up to date and present
Report faults, damages or missing equipment

Professional Qualities

Prioritising workload based on short and long-term requirements
Interest in Live Production Industry
Competent IT Skills

Personal Qualities

Professional attitude
Punctuality
Ability to work as part of a team
Positive approach under pressure

Experience

Knowledge of specific lighting consoles such as grandMA, Hog and Avolites
Understanding of system networks and protocols such as DMX, Art-Net, MA-Net and sACN
Extensive Experience in Live Production Industry
